1970 c10, trying this again!!

Hey all, I started a 68 c10 about 2 years ago. And well life happened and the truck was left behind!!! Bought the truck in many parts and was gonna piece it together..

Anyway things have changed and I found a 1970 c10 long bed. Mostly complete!!! It seems to be a striped down model, no radio,ac, 6cyl, 3spd. Trucks in decent shape, needs very little from what I can see as far as body work(inner rockers, and a few spots on the bed floor)!! The engine hasn't ran in a couple of years, but still turns over by hand!!! Not even sure if I'm gonna mess with it... as for the mechanical side it needs 1 new trailing arm (po) replaced 1 and not the other... frame seems to be in excellent shape and not bent at all.

This is gonna be a slow build. As the wallet allows!!! Anyway to the few pics that I have of the truck in it's current condition and resting spot!!!

Tortise over hare! What specific plans to you have besides the trailing arm and getting the engine running? Best of luck to you.

I'm not gonna put a hole lot of time in the 6cyl. Might try to sell it as a hole... I have options for the motor/trans. Either a healthy sbc with a th400, or a 6.0 with a 4l80e. Not exactly sure what way to go. The truck will be lowered 4" in the rear, and 2.5 in the front with spindles. I also have a friend with a set of 15" rally wheels, I can get for free!!! Of course that means a 6 to 5 lug conversion. And disc brakes on the front.. that's pretty much as far as I have gotten... I'll fix the body work that's needed, paints in decent shape. Like the sleeper look
