Teach The Young Ones...

My stepsons first ride. He asked “How do I get better gas mileage?”

Me: Keep your foot out of it, throw a Gear Vendor in it, there are lots of options.”

The best thing to me about these trucks is the passing down part, especially the knowledge of how to DIY...not so much willing your truck to someone when you die. His biological dad never took a second to show him how a screwdriver works, and unfortunately that’s the way of the world. When you live with a C10 junky, you learn🤘🏼...

Very nice looking truck! My daughter's first was an 82 C10 with a 250 and automatic. Thought it would keep ere calm. Nope she figured out real quick how to get speeding tickets on the interstate with it. Not sure who she got that trait from.

As a former teenager that drove a '73 Chevy truck, I can safely say it is almost impossible to keep your foot out of it. Hahaha. I still struggle with a lead foot as a full blown adult.

Speaking of that '73 though, my Dad used to run a transmission shop when I was a teenager and that truck was left on the shop property. He told me if I could get it running, I could have it. I drove it for several years during high school. Learned a lot of what I know now from that truck. A great experience.

Great looking truck!
