How do I identify what the front end on my 67 is?

Re: 67 front end
I don't have a direct answer but it looks identical to my original 1972 C10 front end.

Re: 67 front end
Perhaps someone with greater knowledge than myself will chime in but I’d say the only real differences is in the ball joints and tie rods needed for the spindle. If you can get to the part number on the back of the spindle it might help identify what year the spindle is without disassembly.

Re: 67 front end
If the brake hose brackets are on the rear of the crossmember, then the crossmember is probably the original from '67. Your outer tie rod end is larger in diameter than the inner tie rod end, which I believe means the sleeve connecting them is a conversion style.

Re: 67 front end
If you measure the ball joints, then you'll be able to figure out the tie rods.

Re: 67 front end
The frame is '67.. The top "flange" on later years is narrower in the engine area, clearance for the 402 big block... Also your frame doesn't have the relief for the PS gear box found on later years.
