The generator for the truck has fried. Bearings are a mess. What is the recommended step for this? Re-build the generator, find another generator, get an alternator kit of some kind... Any suggestions of what avenue to take, and how to go about it?
What would be the best manual out there for a 57 chevy 3600 truck? I don't see that Chiltons goes back that old, and people on ebay don't get very specific as to what info is in certian books an manuals.
