I never saw any until I bought mine, now I see them here and there. I think a one ton pickup is pretty cool, when I found mine I was on my way to buy a new dodge V10 2wd 3/4 ton, but there this truck was, 48000 original on the clock, build sheets, all records, in very nice shape for $2000, so I bought it instead, and loved it ever since. It has taken me across country, carrying parts from Colorado junkyard back to Maine.
Anyway, there is one in a local boneyard, and there was a nice 38,000 mile but rusted badly longhorn 1969 under a pine tree with the camper still on it, I wonder if it is still there.
I saw a red one with a giant dent in the side last summer, but, yes, no matter how you slice it they are still less common than the other pick-ups.
