If you look at the pics FF posted, you can see where the bag sits in the lower arm. If your cup sticks up above that, you can trim it to sit a little lower than flush (as he has). The trick is to get your cups as close to the arm.

I think any less than that you run the risk of the bag touching the arm.

At least that's my understanding.

Compare this picture to the one of FF's install. See how much of the cup is visible above the lower arm?



You could cut about a 1/2" or so off the cups in this picture.
