I appreciate the cautions about the belt drive units, but I think that I still want to try them out before I shell out a whole bunch of money for the A-1 kit (some of us just have to learn the hard way

).

Terry P, I've seen your earlier posts on the subject, do you remember what you used as a donor car? When I ask the counter guy at the 2 or 3 salvage yards that I normaly use, nobody seems to know exactly which cars had them. If you could point me in the right direction, it would save me a lot of time pulling door panels off to find what I'm looking for.

Also, on some cars the drivers window will go all the way down with just one quick push of the button, is this a function of the switch, or is there a black box that I need to grab as well, or what?
