well, we got 'er sprayed!
i have some touch up left to do. due to the warm weather, there was a swarm of lady bugs that appeared...so..they decided that my paint was a nice place to land. needless to say, i have to wet sand it out a bit and such.
but, alas! i'm happy.
and now...pics!
the white cab.
Hood..
Dad hard at work..
Bed.
cowl.
and the cab.
and. i know the bed sides aren't straight. or the doors. or the fenders. BUT! i'm alright with that. it does me no good just sitting in the garage in pieces, while i sand away body filler, my mind and sanity and money into a fine powdery dust. SO.
i have a bit left to do, aside from touch ups. bolt the headers on, and get the exhaust routed, check the brakes, bolt it together.
. i'm very pleased with it.
whatcha think??
total cost:
Paint/Primer: ~$40.
Thinner: ~$12.
Sanding discs: ~$12.
Paint Gun: ~$20.
so. total. $84.
. not too shabby.
Let's Hear It!
