I honestly don't know what ppl are doing. The stock 700R4 sends a signal to the computer...and no one is installing the computer in these trucks, so i have no idea what they are doing.
As for the speedo you mentioned...I don't know if that accepts the signal from the tranny directly, or if it needs a computer signal....no idea.
I've never messed with these trannys, I just read the problems y'all have, and come across solutions some times.
