The Megasquirt really sounds like the best way to go but I don't know if I have the patience to figure it all out.
I thought about buying HPTuners and getting the license for my '03 swap setup and my '01 Z28. That way I can use one to tune/learn to tune and drive the other. Eventually, I would like to cam my Z so I think it wouldn't be a bad investment. Local dyno tunes are $300, iirc, and parking lot tunes are $150. Wouldn't take many changes to pay for the HPTuner program. Sorry for the ramble...
