Yep, just verified it on the original drawing here:

It does run thru the ignition switch then right up to the dash connector. So, key has to be on for it to work, remember that in your troubleshooting.

Oh, and any terminal spade will work as long as its the kind of u-shaped one. You can get them at Napa, Wal-mart or anywhere that sells connectors.
