Thanx Heater63.....I thought of welding in something, BUT.....I've already painted the interior......my thoughts are that the mounting is basically a triangle shape so it should be stable with only the 2 lowest screws. I will cover them with a speaker pod/contraption yet to be conceived. I dont like to second guess the manufacturer, but hey, it wouldnt be a hotrod if it was stock!!!

The biggest problem with welding in the screws is that I dont know how I would rotate the entire power window assembly inside the door to tighten them. If you put studs on them, then you end up with nuts on the door.

This may be hard to visualize....I will post more pics of them when I get time.
