Well its getting uglier now.
CPP re-sent the correct U-Bolts, but they didn't ship out for 4 days.
They arrived while I was out of town for a week.
So my Trucks been at the Shop now for over 2 weeks.
Since I'm on a Tight Budget and CPP sent the WRONG U-Bolts,
I have asked THEM to pay 1/2 the Labor Charge that my Mechanic is going to charge ME for putting in the wrong U-Bolts.
My thinking is, the Mechanic shouldn't have to eat the Labor Charge for installing the wrong U-Bolts.
I shouldn't have to pay either, as it wasn't any of my doing.
CPP pulled the WRONG PART, and (in my opinion) if they want my repeat business, then they need to make good on their mistake!
So far my "Go To Guy" there is saying No.
I've asked it to be elevated to the Owners of the Company.
I also have a Settlement coming in October and there's approx. $5K in Suspension upgrades ear-marked for my Truck.
I told him if they don't make good on this Mistake, they will get no further business from me.
Right now the balls in their Court.
