The DIY4X 67-72 crossmember is designed for a SBC. Yes, it bolts right in. So my issues are for a BBC. I talked with Kurt and he sent me another crossmember, but this one is just the pieces so that I can weld them together to fit the BBC.

I hit a roadblock... The DIY4x cross member lowered the motor down quite a bit, causing the the headers to have serious clearance issues. I moved the engine forward 3 1/4" so the frame is narrower, but the tall valve covers clear the firewall. The exhaust ports on the heads are about an inch or two above the frame instead of 3-4".
