Definitely make sure you take the fitting apart.. .. It will be a tight fit that needs some force along with twisting the bottom 1/2 of the fitting both ways as you force it onto the line.


Chop saw/cutoff saw, dremmel tool. You want a tool that uses a high speed disk that you can use to cut through the line.
