The automatic lockouts, as it says are automatic, you do not have to get out and lock them in. No problem on a NP 205. When you engage the transfercase, the automatic hubs have a spring in them, the torque compress's the spring and locks them in. They work fairly good, but have a tendency to disengage when you are playing hard. They work good on the family ride, but I would put regular lock outs if you 4-wheel much.
