[THE UGLY]

this is a common problem on those 5.3l when it gets cold. the factory intake manifold gaskets leak and cause a lean bank 1 and 2 and most of the time a random misfire code. they have updated gaskets from gm that are a green color. i have installed many of them and it fixed all of them. that is where i would start.
