Most of the trucks that we do at IF Customs are two links. All of them ride great as long as set up correctly. If the bag is too far forward the ride will be to soft. If the bag is too far back on the bar the ride will be to hard. You have to try to get the optimum setup out of the two like. Most of the trucks that we build, we build to ride an 1'' or 2'' off the ground. In that aspect the 2 link bar is not parallel when driving. It would be at an angle. We like the trucks to drive the best as low as possible. And they do. If the truck is lets say 5'' off the ground it doesnt neccessarily ride as well. It really all depends on how you want your truck to drive at what height. Hope this helps out a little. Hope this helps a little with your question.
LOWESTSIXTY7: thanks for the info, I think 2" might be a little too low for me, I might be cool with 5" (thats what I was thinking anyway).I guess I have been reading too many hotrod mags, cause they always set their rear stuff up @ ride height.SOOO my trailing arms are made of 2x2 sqr tube.25wall
@40" long, I was told I want to place the bags 1/3 of the length of my trailing arms= 13".my shocks are going to be placed as far as possible to the outside of the axle. Here's what I'm confused about....... if I put the panhard bar in @ full dump, wont it pull the truck to one side when I air up??? I hear it can pull as much as 2" , dont I want everything centered when I'm driving.BTW do you have any pictures you could post of your setup? THANKS AGAIN
