I was told that with the bear claw installed you don't need the door poppers. The claw kind of "kicks" the door open a bit for you to grab the door and open it. I installed the bear claw latches on mine and shaved the door handles. Right now I am in the middle of body work and have the doors off but opening the mechanism seemed to be fine without the poppers installed.
