Seam sealer will work for how long I don't know. Auto makers use seam sealer on some roofs. I've seen it on Excursions and F250/350's It will more than likely to shrink and crack over time. It can get messy, but I think you have enough experience with a caulk gun. You going to use a 2 part seam sealer?
