I like the way it just bolted in, like it was made to be in there. I know I have read that before but first hand experience it really holds true.

Thanks Jay, yes there is plenty of room to do the install. I was going to do this before I put the engine in but instructions show to put 240lbs of torque to the old bolt, pull it out then do 37lbs and 240 degrees of twist with a new bolt. I did not think an engine stand was a stable platform for doing this kind of wrenching so in it went and I will brace the flexplate near the starter space and get this done that way.

Next I am not sure what I will be doing but it will most likely be the balancer, water pump, power steering/alt bracket, and doing the mods to run my old school guages. Tapping the oil cooler plate will do for the oil pressure fitting and somewhere on the water pump or adapter for the head where the new style water sender is.
