soda blasting is not an option, funds are too tight. I have tried just about everything I have in my garage. DA, sand blaster the black discs in the drill, I think they are the brite wells mentioned above, and 80 grit on a 6" low speed sander, that works great on large flat panels, but this angle grinder with the cup wheel seems to beat them all, and I don't mind the occasional wire bur stuck in my gut. So if there are no other negative effects from using it, I will continue. Funny story however. I was using a regular wire wheel when rebuilding my dads corvette. I got a wire stuck in my alkalies tendon, shoved over 75% into my foot. was almost unable to walk then I saw what the problem was, a pair of pliers and instant pain relief. so be careful, you never know where those wires will end up.
