He put it in the rear side marker light area .. he used the filler door harware from a s-1o p/u donar i think for the hinge and door .. he was able to fill his gas tank from the rear side marker opening.. i want to do this on mine as well .. someday with a rear tank.. any way..
Your truck is awesome and you are an amazing mechanic and metal worker . a true crafsman. i cant wait to see this on the road..
GOD BLESS AND KEEP THOSE PIC.S COMING.. DANDELUXE
My free gas tank, part of my free frame/engine/trans/rear axle /wiring /etc, has a filler neck that aims towards the front of the truck. I don't remember what page, but I have pictures of it on here. Since I am going for the stock sleeper look, I wouldn't want to shave the gas filler, and the gas tank neck lines up perfectly with it - so there you have it. I want the truck to look original so that the main thing that jumps out at you is " Wow, that sure is a clean factory crew cab". Not, "wow, that thing sure has a ton of body modifications done to it - look they even made it into a crew cab." See the difference?
