I didn't say it couldn't be done, just not easily. Eaton is one of the 15" 8 lug wheel makers. In my reading about 15" wheels for 8 lug axles, most require that you grind down on the caliper and you have to stick the wheel way out to clear brake drums. Your choice, but that is not an area I would consider weakening and I am not a fan of bearing burner rims.

The 15" 8 lug wheels came about so you could run wheels with the safety bead rather than 16.5. Now that you have a TON of options in 16" and 17" rims, I wouldn't do the 8 lug 15" rim thing.

With that said, I have a '76 Blazer, and '83 3/4 ton Suburban, and a set of pretty decent 35 12.5 15 BFG MT's that I have considered marrying.... but it would be strictly off road.
