Not many trucks in these pictures, but they're still pretty neat !!
Lockheed Aircraft factory in Burbank, California during World War II.
The first picture shows how it looked BEFORE the camouflage was put up.
The second picture shows how it was "disguised" to look like a normal countryside.
The third picture shows the top of the burlap covering with its fake houses and trees.
The fourth and fifth pictures show how it looked under the covering.
It's easy to forget how close we came to having the war fought on OUR soil !!!
