On with the build. Here's the painted case:
Of course, the tailshaft housing, servo cover and governor cover are painted as well. Pretty nice holding fixture from the "Mystery Man", huh? (Please ignore the junk behind the case.)
My package from Oregon Transmissions came yesterday, and the one from transmissionpartsusa.com came today. The Master Overhaul Kit is a "Toledo Trans-Kit". This, and all other parts appear to be high quality. We'll see. I did not need a new separator plate. I did change some components from my original list. If anyone is interested I'll post the updated list.
Reassembly begins tomorrow.
