Back in the 80's in HS I use to street race with Mom&Dads 77 2wd 454 1/2 all the time. That old truck won me a lot of races
It would do just over 100mph in the 1/4 mile. It would eat up 5.0 Mustangs all day long. That old Silverado had alot of top end speed for a truck. I could dam near twist the speedo needle back to zero
