I was thinking about that too, but was still gonna try it. It wont work with this tach anyway.

I was gonna give it a shot, but the needle starts a good 1/4" from center. so anything attatched to it would move in an arc pattern.

Run with it Frankie ! I think it will look good. fyi A little rubbing compound and some elbow grease will get the factory painted lines of the lens. then just polish till shiny.
