Re: 1972 Chevy p/u NewType Build

Went ahead and also put together the glove box light/trigger in pretty straight forward process and was completely in and operational in ten minutes of routing and mounting.

Started by testing the bulb with the key in the on position and plugging the connector into the fuse block worked perfect with pushing and releasing the pin mechanism by hand, then I went ahead and unplugged and routed in through the glove box hole in the upper left corner wire/plug first.

Found out that there isn't a hole already for the wires to go through so I went ahead and cut one seemingly unnoticeable for the plugs and wire to run through the side edge of the cardboard and down to the bottom edge of the dash then from there over and up on top of the column to waste some wire length before wrapping it up shorter and plugging it into the Batt. slot of the fuse block. Neat little thing about this wiring kit is that it has an extra connector so that you don't have to sacrifice one spot on the block.
