I must of scrapped about 20 of those a few years ago. 6v71s 8v71s 12v71s, a few old cummins too. All in big rigs. Hated to do it but nobody seems to want them enough to pay for them. I remember one had an air starter on it. In the 70s they were in everything and a lot were cab overs back when they had length limits cab overs were an obvious choice. Still some market for the 4cyl, in heavy equipment. Still got a 471 in a grader and a 453T in a RT crane. Screaming green oil pukers but they are powerful for their displacement thanks to the 2 stroke design.
