Being different is not the best reason for building a supercharged or a turbocharged engine. The 292 needs mods to use any additional flow effectively like bigger valve and headwork. Your tagline indicates actually says a no money build. Do the numbers but I'd bet you could do a crate engine for the same or less without the sorting of a supercharger installation and rebuilding the 292 engine. If you must try this a Paxton style superchager would probably be the least problematic allowing an existing aftermarket 4bbl manifold to be used with a blow through carb box.
