Are you going to cut the piece in question out? I remember taking this piece out~ I took my torch and lightly applied O2 to blow it away. It has spot rivets, but was easier just to do what I did. The channel or rocker is galvanized I think~ or had some kind of coating on it. I had to grind it down to metal to weld my new floor pan in/ stitch welded it into place. Are you going to replace that entire floor pan or just what you need?
