im currently building a 56 "cameo" and opted to use a 72 c10 frame, its turned out to be a fairly easy swap just took a little engineering but you really just need to install the bed (which practically bolts on) and then that will dictate where the cab needs to be, also the parts are plentiful for the 67-72 c10 truck frames..
