WE CUT OUR CROSSMEMBER ALSO, WELDED A PIECE OF 1" CHANNEL TO THE INSIDE TOP OF THE CROSSMEMBER, BOLTED THE CUT CROSSMEMBER TO THE TOP OF THE FRAME, THEN ADDED A BRACE FROM THE FRAME TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CROSSMEMBER TO KEEP IT FROM SAGGING...
