Thanks for the info. I looked up the bag specs on the internet and ride hight for this bag is 7.25", fully extended is 9.25", and 5.25" however I got it to colapse to 5" and things looked fine. So that's where I got the 4 1/4" of travel. And I thought it wasn't much. I've had this kit since around 2004/5.
