I have called Classic Parts and they say that the stud is the correct size and I also called Belltech and they say the shock is correct. The bushing for the shock is 1/2" in diameter and the stud is 5/8" in diameter. I tried to drill the inner sleeve out to the correct size but I got the hole crooked so now that shock is useless. Can I just replace the bushing with larger diameter ones or does anyone else have a better solution? I tried to include a picture of the shock studs but I couldn't figure out how to get in one here....
Knock the bushing out & install new bushings w/the correct size hole. There are companies that sell bushing 'halves' that press into place & use a different bore sleeve.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
