Got the t fitting and adapter and it still didnt work. Finally took it to my uncle and found out we put the brake hardware in wrong. The two small springs that hold the shoes against the back were on the opposite side which messed everything up. Funny thing is I put them on the way they came off so who knows how long they've been like that... oh well, finally brakes like a champ now!
