I am looking to get a rear tank for my '72. Probably going to get the brothers one which has a 1 3/8" filler neck so I will need to be patient as well.

I have been thinking of doing a sidemarker fill since I don't want to cut into the bed of my truck either and it is lined as well. My initial thought was to just cut out a hold on the side of the rear panel but if I can make the sidemarker fill work then it would be a lot cleaner.
