This is how my Porterbuilt Sway Bar is mounted. I bent the gold bracket to match the frame where it mounts and then I used some grade 8 washers as spacers to space it off the frame a little. Hope this made sense but it worked good.

I haven't had the chance to mess with it any further. But with using washers as spacers is the rubber isolator tight against your frame?
