That said, we have been making filters like this since 1962, over 2 billion sold. Today, AC Delco filters use similar construction only the end cap is felt. I know because we make them. Honda, Subaru, Nissan, Bentley, Mercedes, Porsche, and BMW all use this style of construction as OE filters. we make some, other companies make some, every company outside of WIX is adopting the non metallic end cap style of filter. Our filters are made in Ohio and Illinois, not farmed out someplace.
