Got a call that the first Colorado showed up in my region. I went in Saturday and test drove it.
I liked it enough to put in an order for one, so in 8-12 weeks I'll take delivery of my new truck.
I weighed the +/- on waiting for the diesel and decided it wouldn't really benefit me any to do so. Diesel is $0.60+ extra per gallon right now, so that cancels out about 5-6 MPG more that could be possible. Not to mention I'm sure there's a cost increase for the diesel. Overall, no real savings.
This is replacing my daily driver Subaru WRX. By posted numbers I will take a 1MPG hit, but I also get to save $0.30-40 with standard gas over premium.
