I suppose if you're going to keep in forever it doesn't matter but if mileage is lower the next time it's registered it going to throw a flag making the title "true mileage unknown" which will also show up on carfax thus decreasing the value of the vehicle.

In Texas I believe after 10 years the odometer is labeled exempt on the title. My current title has exempt on the mileage. I do plan on keeping it for ever, but that is just a plan and how we all know those always change.
Yeah its just for me. Other than the frame and body everything is new on the truck. I do plan to keep the original odometer also.
I don't agree if you are just changing the engine to do that but since the truck has been redone it wont be so bad and im not trying to screw anyone its just for me.
