The headers should clear the mounts fine, but you'll have a somewhat fun time putting the clutch linkage in. lol That's why I went with shorties. Here's a video of how my 292 performs in my 66. Mind you it has 148,000+ on it and compression is around 95 pounds(vs150) in all the cylinders. And she still does 5k rpms! lol
