6.2 is the latest LS engine came in the escalades and the denali's. I had an escalade with one and it did good for towing my 18ft trailer with a truck on it. This truck is a bit heavier and ill be pulling bigger loads. I guess the question is how good of gas mileage do i really expect out of either setup pulling a huge 30ft camper?
