Update

I did a interesting thing.I ordered the lokar aca-1800 shift linkage piece because i was told that it fit . I ordered last night and i got the email that it shipped right now a few minutes ago. I decided to call lokar to ask them if it fit out of pure curiosity.I was told NO it does not fit my 6l80e

.Bummer. I am now waiting for the summit piece to arrive which will be tomorrow.I will send piece back and get refund.On the birght side I was told by lokar that they are in a Research and Development phase of producing a 6l80e compatible shift linkage and "supposedly" that in the next month or two it might be released.This does not help me or solve my immediate problem..............

Meanwhile also between the few minutes ago and right now I decided to call a company in las vegas named SHIFTWORKS.Well the good people over there have a part number KK02 which is a shift linkage that was confirmed by the company itself that it does fit my 6L80E!

This was ordered and thats that.
