I'd say you will be more than fine, I looked at 40 gun drilled with a spool for mine, but decided not as at the time I had dreams of street driving the thing a lot more than I do, but local law enforcement crushed that for me LOL.
But anyway, 35 in a good forged axel will handle lots, I went Moser, Mark Williams were my top choice but too pricey at the time.
