actually, the fuel economy has been surprising so far. I have had a bunch of the FS GM trucks and SUVs with all displacement engines. This is by far the best economy out of any 6.0 that I have had so far. 15mpg at 75+ on trip home from Ohio. Am getting 13.5 in city driving so far. But as mentioned, you don't buy something like this for the mileage.
