Glad to see you're taking the time to do it right, even if it means backtracking on previous progress. That's what the really good builders do. I think you'll feel a lot better about the end product.

I wanted it to be right so out came the angle grinder with cut off wheel. I then made a new panel and made it go down the same amount all the way across. Got it welded on but still need to grind the welds down. I'm very satisfied with it now it's pretty much perfect.
