At the last post I had the starter rebuilt only to crack the nose cone. My wife and kids bought me another starter for father's day and I back the timing off a bit. It appears to be starting alot easier. However, I'm going to have the guy that built the motor set the timing again.
I've renewed my love for the truck in the last week or so and now that it starts I think things might not be such a fight with it.
I'm going to finish the bed. Nothing fancy, just a sheet of stained plywood. I'm hoping to have it drivable by mid-september for an NSRA show.
