The driveshaft will be fairly simple. You'll just need a flange to bolt to the output flange that will accept a u-joint. If you have a short wheel base truck, behind the U-joint will be a slip yoke. If you have a long wheelbase truck, I would stay with a 2 piece driveshaft and the HD carrier bearing. Then the slip yoke will be behind the carrier bearing. This is basically how GM did it with the SM420/465 trans
I am not at all familiar with that trans, but could an adapter plate be used between the 292 and the bellhousing?
